小学英语作文:My Dreams
When I was a little child, my mother would often ask me why I wanted money. She said, “If you have as much as Bill Gates and want toys, what will you do with it?” My answer was, “Suppose I had that amount of money and wanted a toy factory.” That’s simple enough at the time, but my dream was even simpler.
Today, I’m in grade 6. Now, my mind is on something better. For my dream, I play computer games less and spend more time studying. I don’t think about chasing my little factory anymore. Maybe I should have played to become a scientist instead!
Some great poems once told the story of youth once passing like time once going by and time once gone would no longer return. Gold treasure every moment before it slips away for time that will never wait and hold you in its laps.
Though my dream is still far, I believe hard work will bring me a brilliant tomorrow. That’s all, thanks for your listening!
